You’re invited to a public screening of the Mortlake Shines Filmmaking Project!

Between April – June 2013, I worked with 10 primary school aged students to create short documentaries on people in the Mortlake community. I mentored the students through the process of creating a short documentary film using their iPads to film and edit their stories. The films can now be viewed on the Mortlake Shines Weebly. Or, to meet the young filmmakers and get an idea of the impact of their films, you can join us at the screening on August 1st in Mortlake.

Sure, the project and the process was hard at times, as the students will tell you on their blog.
